Herbs as a Human Experience In-Person
This workshop would start with a brief overview of the history of herbs and their importance in humanities health and spiritual wellbeing through their uses as medicine, magic, and ritual. Herbs covered will be commonly found in kitchens and grocery stores, in addition to being easily grown. Examples: rosemary mint, lavender and thyme. Ten herbs in the basic section will be introduced. Three additional unusual or less heard of herbs will finish off the selections.
Herbal preparations will be explained as to what the different types do and how they can be used spiritually, medicinally, and cosmetically if time allows. I.E. Tincture, tisane, decoction, oils, steam, poultice etc.
